ASUS Announces ROG Bulwark Dock: A New Official Docking Solution for the ROG Ally and Other Handhelds

ASUS has officially unveiled the ROG Bulwark Dock, a new all-in-one USB-C hub and charging solution built with handheld gaming PCs in mind.

Compatible with the ROG Ally, Ally X, Steam Deck, and even phones or other USB-C devices, the dock was designed to streamline gaming setups with a clean, compact form factor and fast 100W charging.

The Bulwark Dock‘s got a solid range of ports, including three USB 3.2 Type-A, a gigabit ethernet port, HDMI 2.1 for 4K at 144Hz or 8K at 30Hz, a 10Gbps USB-C port, 100W USB-C power delivery, and a 3.5mm audio jack on the side, all packed into a sleek, travel-friendly package.

It doesn’t come with a charger though, so you’ll have to bring your own. ASUS recommends pairing it with their 140-watt USB-C charger, but any high-powered option that delivers 100W+ should do the trick.

While ASUS is a bit late to the docking station game, the Bulwark Dock looks like a polished, official alternative to the many third-party options already out there. Over the past year or so, we’ve taken a closer look at some great options, like JSAUX’s 6-in-1 dock, the RGB-enhanced 7-in-1 cooling dock and their redesigned 12-in-1 dock, which has been our favorite one so far.

The ROG Bulwark Dock is expected to release later this year, with pricing yet to be confirmed. If you’re after a clean, first-party docking solution with a good amount of ports and fast charging, this one might be worth keeping on your radar.
