Strange & Surreal Worlds: New Illustrations by Amr Adel
Published Sep 10, 2025
Cairo-based concept artist, illustrator and art director Amr Adel continues to push his vibrant, surreal style into new territory. We last featured his work a while back, and it’s striking to see how much his visual language has evolved since then.
His recent illustrations are powerful scenes filled with bold color palettes, eccentric characters, and a playful mix of humor and unease. His figures move between the human and the monstrous, with their exaggerated features and strange proportions set against deep black backdrops or richly saturated environments.
Each piece in his portfolio feels like a snapshot from a surreal narrative, equal parts grotesque and whimsical, and always strikingly original.
You can see more of Amr Adel’s work on Behance and Instagram.
