OneXPlayer Super X Pro Brings AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 and 192GB of Memory to a 2-in-1

OneXPlayer’s follow-up to the Super X triples the maximum memory capacity, while pairing AMD’s new Gorgon Halo chip with an external liquid-cooling dock for up to 120W of sustained performance.
OneXPlayer has previewed the Super X Pro, the successor to last year’s Super X and, by the brand’s own account, the world’s first 2-in-1 PC powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495. Pricing and a release date haven’t been announced yet. But the spec sheet makes the direction clear. Where the Super X was a gaming tablet with AI ambitions, the Pro feels more like a portable AI workstation with some serious gaming credentials.

Under the hood, the Super X Pro packs a 16-core, 32-thread Zen 5 processor with integrated Radeon 8065S graphics and up to 192GB of LPDDR5X-8533 unified memory. That enormous memory capacity is particularly interesting for AI workloads, with OneXPlayer claiming support for running large language models with up to 300 billion parameters locally. Up to 160GB can also be allocated as VRAM, giving the integrated GPU an unusually large pool of memory for demanding AI and graphics workloads.

For demanding tasks like 4K video editing, 3D rendering and AAA gaming, the device also supports Frost Bay, an external liquid-cooling dock that OneXPlayer says can sustain performance of up to 120W while keeping fan noise under control.

The hardware is just as impressive elsewhere. There’s a 120Hz 2.8K AMOLED display (2880 x 1800) with HDR and variable refresh rate support, housed in a CNC-machined metal chassis measuring approximately 0.51in (13mm) thick. A built-in kickstand and detachable RGB-backlit keyboard allow the Super X Pro to switch between tablet and laptop-style configurations. Other highlights include an 85.58Wh battery, 240W GaN fast charging, dual USB4 ports, HDMI 2.1 and expandable storage through a MINI SSD slot.

OneXPlayer hasn’t announced pricing or a release date yet, but the Super X Pro is shaping up to be an interesting option for anyone looking for desktop-class performance in a versatile, portable form factor. You can keep an eye on the company’s official website for further updates.
