Shakespeare Reimagined: Editorial Design & Illustrations by Bart De Keyzer
Published Feb 17, 2025
Dutch graphic designer and illustrator Bart De Keyzer combines theatrical drama and modern design in his latest project, Shakespeare Reimagined. This self-initiated project breathes new life into three of the Bard’s most iconic tragedies, King Lear, Macbeth and Hamlet.
Drawing from the powerful themes and rich storytelling in these plays, Bart has created a collection of bold, contemporary illustrations that capture the intensity of Shakespeare’s works in an entirely new way. These sleek, geometric illustrations were then used to produce a series of posters and book covers, all neatly housed in a beautiful box set.
