White Pocket: Aerial Photos by Kevin Krautgartner

The “White Pocket” is a small area nestled within the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument in Arizona, USA. In this remote corner of the world, German photographer Kevin Krautgartner has captured an extraordinary series of aerial images that encapsulate the surreal beauty of this unique landscape.

The area is dominated by swirling, layered rock formations that look more like abstract art than anything you’d expect to find on Earth. The colors range from bright white to deep red, with shades of pink, orange, and even a bit of green scattered throughout. The landscape appears to be in a constant state of flux, as the wind, water and time continuously reshaped the rocks into new and fascinating forms over millions of years.

Kevin’s images offer a bird’s eye view of this stunning location, providing a unique perspective that few have seen before.
