Published Sep 4, 2024
French artist Shekra transforms urban landscapes into captivating canvases of color and form with his bold and vibrant murals. Since the late 90s, he has been part of the Parisian graffiti scene, where he has carved a space for himself by blending bright colors, geometric shapes, handcrafted patterns and sometimes lettering, to create eye-catching visuals.
Shekra’s art is deeply inspired by his travels around the world. Each place he visits leaves an indelible mark on his work, inspiring patterns and motifs that reflect the diverse cultures and moments he experiences.
In addition to his personal projects, Shekra has collaborated with big clients like Peugeot, The European Commission, L’Officiel and AFP, showcasing his ability to tailor his vibrant style to suit a variety of contexts and audiences.
