Twisted Collage Artworks by Moon Patrol
Published Oct 3, 2022
Self-taught artist Matt Cunningham, aka Moon Patrol draws inspiration from old school pulp illustrations, 80s cartoons and video games to produce unearthly collage artworks.
“My themes include 80s cartoons, Atari 2600, horror movies, folklore, western and detective pulps, astronauts, gorillas, lethal rainbows, sentient prisms, skeletons leading lives independent of their owners, and undercover robots lurking just beneath the skin.
My inspiration for the collage technique is inspired in part by Kid Koala’s turntable albums, and in part by William Burroughs’ cut-up technique.”
— Moon Patrol
Moon Patrol’s prints are available for purchase on Outré Gallery‘s wesbite.
