Stunning Comic Book Art by Anand RK

Anand Radhakrishnan, aka Anand RK, is a visual artist and illustrator based in Mumbai who made the successful transition from a fine art background to becoming a prominent figure in the comic book industry.

Anand’s big break came in 2017 when he teamed up with writer Ram V for “Grafity’s Wall,” published by Dark Horse Comics. This graphic novel put him on the map, showcasing his ability to combine deep storytelling with stunning visuals.

The creative partnership between Anand and Ram continued with the critically-acclaimed “Blue in Green,” published by Image Comics. Anand even received an Eisner Award for Best Painter/Multimedia Art Team, for his work on the project alongside colorist John J. Pearson. Over the years he has also produced cover art and illustrations for various other publishers like DC, Boom! Studios, and 2000 AD.

When he’s not busy with commercial projects, Anand enjoys diving into personal projects like the “Kuntham” series, a collection of self-initiated illustrations and paintings that explore themes of eroticism, mutation, metamorphosis and world-building.
