Striking Digital Collages by Magdiel Lopez
Published Nov 28, 2024
Magdiel Lopez is a master at blending surrealism, bold colors and human expression into striking digital collages.
His creations are a wild mix of neon gradients, soft pastels and unexpected elements that seem to drift across the canvas. A lot of his work focuses on human faces and bodies, with the eyes always pulling you in, even when masks or other intriguing elements cover part of his subjects.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Magdiel grew up surrounded by vibrant culture, which continues to inspire his style today. After moving to the US at 15, he spent the next 10 years quietly perfecting his craft before launching “A Poster A Day,” where he shared one piece of artwork daily for an entire year. This self-initiated project paid off big time, catching the attention of a global audience and catapulting his career. Before long, he was teaming up with major brands like Apple, Nike and MTV.
Now based in Dallas, Magdiel continues to push creative boundaries with his agency, Belmont Creative, and through his partnership with Adobe as a design mentor. You can discover more of his amazing work on his website, as well as Behance and Instagram.
