Streaking Trains: Photography by Aaron Durand

Published Feb 21, 2012

Awesome long exposure shots by San Francisco-based photographer Aaron Durand.

“The extended streaks of color against an evening night sky look like intergalactic light beams. There’s a real sense of warp speed felt in Durand’s images that don’t come across from most trains when experienced in person. Even in the most “country” of settings, these drawn out wisps of light add futuristic, urban motifs.”
