Slanted Magazine #41: Amsterdam

For the latest edition of their magazine, the Slanted team paid a visit to Amsterdam to explore the city’s vibrant design scene.
They were immediately captivated by the century-old “bruine kroegen” or brown cafes. These cozy establishments with dark wood and old-fashioned decor provided a welcome respite after bike rides to design studios.
The 41st issue of Slanted covers a selection of Amsterdam’s most creative minds, providing insights into their work through a curated selection of images and interviews.
Creativity is omnipresent in the city, and the Dutch have a history of embracing bold and radical designs, with colors that are always more intense – oranges are brighter, reds are more luminous, and blacks are more brutal.
