PointOfView: Book Design by Liquorice

Published Dec 31, 2013

Melbourne-based design studio Liquorice created this beautiful prospectus book for PointOfView, a design consultancy specialising in lighting design. The project includes a special edition glowing slip case that was created with the book title laser etched to align with the printed cover.

“The inspiration for the book design originated from PointOfView’s identity — incorporating a circle motif derived from the logo, using light to create graphic imagery and building on the concept of a ‘viewpoint’.

Working with light and shadow, we developed a typographic image for each chapter heading. We experimented with varying angles, focuses, light densities and surfaces for projection to create a suite of different effects.”
