Perspective: Distorded Photos by Suzanne Saroff
Published Aug 1, 2018
NYC-based photographer Suzanne Saroff uses water-filled cups of various sizes to distort reality in her intriguing series entitled ‘Perspective’
“Through cylinders and glass, the physical props are fragmented, appearing almost as if they have been glitched digitally. Suzanne uses refraction, bold colors and directional light to achieve such results. The alternating of size, shape and position of these water-filled vessels provide endless compositions. ‘Perspective’ is a playful examination of the everyday, challenging the singular identity of the commonplace objects to showcase a multitude of visual expressions.”
