Multilayered Editorial Illustrations by Eiko Ojala
Published Jul 12, 2024
For quite some time now, we have been admirers of the distinctive “papercut” style of Eiko Ojala, an Estonian artist known for his mastery of form, light, and shadow. His latest editorial illustrations continue to amaze with their ingenious concepts and a sleek minimalist aesthetic.
Eiko’s creative process combines digital precision with a handcrafted touch. His stunning creations look like they’re composed of several layers of cut paper, but they are actually crafted using digital tools. This unique style pairs incredibly well with his ability to convey complex ideas with simplicity and wit.
