Light, Shadow & Neon Dreams: New Works by Kaiwan Shaban
Published Sep 15, 2025
Kurdish visual artist Kaiwan Shaban continues to mesmerize us with his cinematic digital compositions. This time around, we’re taking a look at a selection of images infused with glowing greens and warm oranges.
In these new pieces, solitary figures, vintage cars, and looming architectural structures are bathed in surreal light, caught between stillness and suspense. Misty landscapes glow under oversized suns, while neon-lit scenes channel the mood of retro cinema.
Kaiwan’s incredible use of light and shadow transforms seemingly ordinary settings into unforgettable cinematic experiences. Over the years, he has collaborated with brands like Apple, Adobe, and Mercedes, always pushing boundaries and refining his distinctive visual language.
