Patrick Latimer is an illustrator and cartoonist based in Cape Town.
“After several years working as an art director at some of Cape Town’s big advertising agencies, I made the jump to full time illustration. My work can be found in local and international magazines, on book covers and wine labels and seen in advertising campaigns.
To make my pictures, I use pencil drawings, ink splats, bits of old photographs, mouldy paper, leaves and mysterious textures I find behind the lawnmower in the tool shed. I scan them all in and arrange them in Photoshop.”
