Game Remakes: Fun Series by Mohamed Chahin
Published Sep 21, 2023
Berlin-based artist Mohamed Chahin explores a fresh take on iconic video games in his “Game Remakes” series. In this personal project, Mohamed reinterprets a range of popular video games in a three-dimensional and often isometric aesthetic, giving them a new look.
Mohamed’s use of soft 3D effects gives his dioramas a tactile, almost tangible quality. He combines this with an isometric style in some compositions, to create a sense of depth and space while making familiar scenes feel new and exciting.
From Kirby to The Legend of Zelda, Mohamed leaves no stone unturned in his quest to reimagine iconic video game franchises. Above all, “Game Remakes” is an adorable nostalgic celebration of the games we grew up with.
