Forgotten Portraits: Photos by Adam Koziol

Since 2013, Polish photographer Adam Kozioł has been photographing and documenting dying tribal cultures across the globe.

“He draws particular attention to human phenotypes, tattoos, scarifications, ornaments and the appearance which identifies a given tribe.

In order to carry out his project, Adam Kozioł has selected a few dozen of the most characteristic cultures which he intends to approach within the next years to come. So far he has visited 18 tribes from Asia and Africa.”
