Firefly: Outlandish Wearable Art by Jack Irving
Published Jan 13, 2023
Jack Irving is a production and costume designer based in London, where he develops bold and unforgettable wearable art that has gained attention from the fashion and performance industry.
A storyteller at heart, Jack has produced work for performance shows such as the X-Factor, but the artist is most widely known for his work with Lady Gaga, who has donned many of his pieces including the iconic Sea Urchin Showgirl inflatable dress that she wore on her Artpop tour in Paris.
His “Firefly” collection is packed with inflatable elements, combined with sparkling, iridescent finishes and sweeping fabric adornments.
Jack’s creations are carefully crafted into clothing that can be worn both on stage or during a photoshoot to create a lasting impression for those who view it. His passion for creating outlandish wearable art has made him one of the most sought after designers in the world.
