The latest edition of the competition showcased some of the most incredible macro images of the natural environment. Hungarian photographer Csaba Daróczi emerged as the overall winner, bagging the title of Close-Up Photographer of the Year 2023. His winning image was nothing short of mesmerizing, capturing an Eurasian nuthatch from the inside of a hollow tree stump. His work, along with the other winners’, is proof that there’s a whole world to discover when we take a closer look.
