Carolina Zambrano is an award-winning Colombian illustrator, graphic designer and artist, working primarily with graphite pencil, fountain pens and acrylics.
Carolina explores topics related to the symbolic world, magic, alchemy and nature.
“My creative processes are associated with the discovery of personal and collective symbols. For this, I apply methods that reveal the voice of the unconscious, such as active imagination – a term used in Jungian analytical psychology – as well as dreams and visions. I try to ensure that all my illustration works go through these creation processes so that the result is a translation of the author’s feelings and wishes.”
