Dressed to Match: Fun Photographic Project by Michelle Satterlee

Published Jan 27, 2023

The art world is filled with endless possibilities, and no one knows that better than Michelle Satterlee. Michelle is the gallery director at Elliott Fouts Gallery, in Sacramento, and since 2015 she’s been documenting photos of her outfits that are perfectly coordinated to match beautiful pieces of art.

The fun self-initiated project called ‘Dressed to Match’ is an exciting creative outlet and allows Michelle to express her personality and mutual love of art, art history, fashion, and photography, all through carefully executed color matching!

It can also be quite challenging at times, as Michelle seeks out clothes that have colors, shapes and patterns that are as close as possible to the artwork depicted in the background. She certainly pulls it off every time, and the results are always incredible.

To view even more incredible fashion pairings, follow Dressed to Match on Instagram, or visit Michelle’s website.
