Delicate Pencil Drawings by Clara Encinas
Published Mar 1, 2023
Clara Encinas is a Spanish artist who works primarily with graphite pencils using traditional techniques. Her simple yet beautiful illustrations are created with particular attention to light, texture and the smallest details. From her website:
“My illustrations are inspired by everyday life and nature. I believe there is poetry and beauty in everything around us.
My favourite things to draw are flowers, tiny antique objects, and little human beings.“
The use of soft contrasts combined with delicate highlights helps bring Clara’s adorable subjects to life. She has a preference for black and white imagery and loves playing with light and shadows to create a unique atmosphere in her work.
