Cybernetic Visions: Futuristic Murals by Alex Kanos

Paris-based street artist Alex Kanos transforms large urban surfaces into striking visions of a future where humans, machines and cities have become intertwined. His murals are dominated by expressive faces reimagined with mechanical implants, cables and architectural fragments that appear to grow directly from the body.

Alex surrounds these cybernetic figures with flowers, foliage, futuristic characters and dense cityscapes, crafting layered compositions in vivid combinations of purple, turquoise, coral, gold and electric blue. The flowing hair, floral ornamentation and carefully balanced compositions reveal the influence of Alfons Mucha in his work.

Beneath their colorful surfaces, the murals explore a more uncertain idea of progress. Alex imagines humanity evolving alongside technology until the organic and mechanical merge into a new species, raising questions about what might remain distinctly human in the process.
