CNTCH O/R: The Lamborghini Countach Reimagined as a Rugged Concept Car
Published Jan 16, 2026
CNTCH O/R is a bold reinterpretation of one of the most recognizable supercar silhouettes ever produced. Created by Milan-based designer akuseru, the concept takes the sharp wedge form of the original Countach LP400 and pushes it into more aggressive, off-road-ready territory. The proportions are still instantly familiar, but the stance is tougher, the surfaces heavier, and the overall presence far more confrontational.
Wide off-road tires, raised suspension, and chunky aero elements give the CNTCH O/R a rally-bred feel. Details like the blocky lighting, exposed vents, and reinforced rear end add a contemporary, almost industrial edge. Inside, the cabin stays minimalist and functional, framed by angular glazing and a stripped-back interior that favors utility over excess.
The project recalls akuseru’s earlier Sauber C392 concept, which we featured last year, where classic racing DNA was filtered through a darker, more futuristic lens. With CNTCH O/R, that same mindset is applied to an automotive icon, not as nostalgia, but as a controlled redesign that respects the original while deliberately pushing it further.
