“Chess Knight” is a captivating series of 3D illustrations that follows the adventure of a charming little character who begins his journey as a humble pawn and eventually transforms into other chess pieces as the story progresses.
Digital artists Ash Yan and Lune Dai have worked in collaboration to bring this project to life, turning a simple chess piece into an adorable character. Our unlikely hero starts off as a small, unassuming piece on the chessboard. But his journey quickly becomes an exciting one, as he evolves into more powerful chess pieces like the queen, bishop, knight, rook and king.
The artists really nailed it with this unique project, successfully turning a classic game of strategy into a compelling character-driven narrative.
