Block Safari: Digital Illustrations by Hyunjune Lee
Published Feb 28, 2024
“Block Safari” is a fun project by Korean character designer and digital artist Hyunjune Lee. This delightful series features a collection of digital illustrations of various animals, each rendered in an irresistibly cute voxel style.
The idea for Block Safari was born from a simple yet imaginative concept: what if all animals were block-shaped? This whimsical notion has allowed for a fresh perspective on familiar creatures, including a tiger, an elephant, a flamingo, a giraffe and even a panda bear. Each animal is given life and personality through Lee’s skillful use of soft, block-like shapes combined with rugged textures.
To discover more adorable creations like these, take a look at Lee’s portfolio or give him a follow on Instagram.
