“Her style is decadent with a feminine touch. And yet she tells the stories with drama and a twist of fascinating mystery. She is inspired by movies and art and is capable of seeing more than just the simple shot through her camera. Vilstrup works both in studio and on location but her creativity on set comes naturally and arises from sudden movement, lighting or feeling. She does not work in a box which reflects her photography that always carries an unique touch that makes you want to see more.”
