Art Blocks: Fun Digital Artworks by Ayumi Tan

Singapore-based designer Ayumi Tan found a clever way to deal with creative block by producing a series of 3D illustrations inspired by the word “block” itself. The series, called “Art Blocks,” features Ayumi’s own charming renditions of vintage electronic devices.

Using the word “block” as the driving force behind the series, Ayumi set out to create 3D representations of old devices with “blocky” elements. Each piece in the collection is a nostalgic nod to the past. From a portable cassette player to an arcade machine, Ayumi takes viewers on a whimsical journey back in time.
