Armors: Thread Sculptures by Jeanne Vicerial
Published Mar 25, 2024
“Armors” is a collection of enthralling textile sculptures by French artist Jeanne Vicerial.
Jeanne has long been fascinated by the anatomy of clothing and its potential as a medium for artistic expression. Her latest series features various “anatomical armours” inspired by 3D printing techniques and the traditional craft of sewing.
The sculptures are crafted from threads and cords, and Jeanne manipulates these materials with precision and care, weaving them into figures that look strong and enigmatic.
