Intricate Aluminum Can Sculptures by Noah Deledda

Published Apr 25, 2018

Using only his hands, American artist Noah Deledda creates complex patterns by methodically scratching, denting and creasing empty aluminum cans.

“The shaping of the can is a thumb driven process that cooperates with the form of the cylinder. The concept of artistic elevation continues as the sculptures are framed and meticulously documented. Documentation has led to producing creative video projects, as a way to further the narrative of my art. To look at it through a different lens if you will. My goal, and reason for ever making art, is to raise awareness of the importance of the creative process. This drives me to create work that challenges perception and inspires curiosity.”

— Noah Deledda
