2025 Year of the Snake Calendar Set by Szu-Yu Hou

Published Jan 30, 2025

Last week, we featured the adorable “Snakes & Apples” gift box by Bito, which reimagined the Year of the Snake in a playful, delicious way. Now, we have another creative take on the Lunar New Year festivities with the “Morning! Fang-tastic Every Day” project by designer and illustrator Szu-Yu Hou.

Szu-Yu Hou’s project takes us on a wonderful journey through the year, creating a themed narrative for each month. From January’s serene “Brewing Sunrise,” to February’s feline-inspired “Cat-alogue of Fortune,” all the way to December’s bubbly “Wine Not?,” this calendar set is packed with fun imagery. Of course, the star of the show is the snake itself. Playfully intertwined within each illustration, it adds a quirky touch to each month.
