Vortex Rings: Fantastic Video by Destin Sandlin

Destin Sandlin spent years trying to recreate a phenomenon he witnessed 5 years ago – two vortex rings colliding with each other, creating a group of smaller rings as a result.

Working in collaboration with David Linderman, he finally captured a similar collision in high resolution, which is now published in all its slow motion glory on his YouTube channel SmarterEveryDay.
