Paris-based photographer Aishy transforms the Château de Versailles into a vivid collision of color in this series titled Versailles Dressed in Red and Blue. Using intense crimson and electric blue tones, he presents the former royal residence through a bold contemporary lens.

The images capture the grand halls, vaulted ceilings, monumental staircases and richly decorated chambers, emphasizing the palace’s ornate geometry and overwhelming scale. Columns and marble surfaces glow in cool blue, while gilded details, murals and sculptural flourishes are pulled forward in saturated red. Dramatic viewpoints and deep shadows add a cinematic feel to the series, making the imposing interiors seem mysterious, theatrical and almost otherworldly.
