Upcycled Animal Sculptures by Mohsen Heydari Yeganeh
Published Sep 20, 2024
Tehran-based artist Mohsen Heydari Yeganeh finds the beauty hidden within discarded materials to craft whimsical animal sculptures.
Working alongside his collaborator Arman at the Kasmeh studio, Mohsen collects broken tools, wooden handles, scrap metals and fabrics from resale shops and alleys, to construct the fantastical creatures he affectionately calls “flying garbage.” Each sculpture is a captivating assemblage that revitalizes these found objects.
