Transformative Visions: The Dreamlike Photography of Masha Raymers
Published Nov 6, 2025
Ukrainian photographer Masha Raymers captures evocative portraits that blur the line between dream and reality. In this feature, we’re highlighting works from Rebirth and Attacus Atlas, two series that showcase her remarkable ability to craft captivating and deeply introspective images.
Based in Lviv, Masha creates richly layered compositions where light, reflection and emotion merge into a single visual language. Rebirth explores transformation through surreal overlays of human figures, architecture and natural elements, evoking themes of memory, identity and awakening. In Attacus Atlas, she turns her lens to one of the world’s largest insects, the Atlas moth, capturing intimate moments where human fragility meets the quiet strength of nature.
