Three-Dimensional Street Art by Odeith
Published Feb 3, 2023
Sérgio ‘Odeith’ is a Portuguese visual artist known for his incredible large scale pieces that are created using a technique called anamorphosis, which allows him to produce 3D murals that appear to be popping off the wall. This optical illusion trick creates a distorted image that can only be seen correctly when viewed from a certain angle – usually straight on or at eye level – allowing viewers to experience the artwork in all its full glory.
The artist has achieved international fame for his 3D creations, which show objects, animals and even vehicles coming out of walls or buildings. His work is so captivating that some have mistaken it for actual sculptures!
