The Real Mad Men: Illustrations by Mac Conner

McCauley “Mac” Conner arrived in New York in 1950 to work on wartime Navy publications and stayed on to make a career in the city’s vibrant publishing industry.

Running from September 2014 to January 2015, a new exhibition at the Museum of the City of New York presents the artist’s hand-painted illustrations created for advertising campaigns and magazines like Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan and more.
