Serbian motion designer and 3D artist Ruslan Tihomirow explores the shimmering world of light and glass in The Power of Reflections, a self-initiated experimental project.
In this series, Ruslan dives into the interplay between form, lighting, refractions and reflections. “I focused on experimenting with a wide range of HDRI maps and dispersion to generate unusual reflective environments,” he explains. By pushing different Index of Refraction (IOR) values, he managed to get a whole spectrum of unexpected results, from soft, pastel-washed surfaces to sharp, crystalline distortions.
