The Angle: A Multi-Artist Visual Collaboration
Published Sep 19, 2024
“The Angle” is a collaborative project led by digital artist Mrs. Sudoku, who had the idea of bringing together 49 of the world’s most talented 3D artists to craft a mesmerizing medley that unfolds as a single, cohesive canvas.
From a distance, “The Angle” looks like a vibrant gradient of colors, transitioning seamlessly from deep, rich purples to the warm glow of baked yellows. But a closer inspection reveals a mosaic of mini-masterpieces, each showcasing the distinctive style of the amazing artists involved.
The idea behind the project was straightforward. Each artist was randomly assigned a tile and tasked with creating a 1×1 image determined only by the color allocated to their piece. Within these constraints, the artists were granted complete creative freedom to craft their own concepts and visuals. The project includes contributions from various creatives, including names such as Martin Salfity, Fabian Aerts, Stee Shaw, Scott Geersen and Thanu Lee, among many, many others.
If you would like to see all the artworks included, as well as additional iterations of “The Angle,” take a look at Mrs Sudoku’s account on Instagram.
