Terra: Biowaste Lamps That Glow with Purpose
Published Jul 25, 2025
Designed by Noi Creative for Lanova, Terra is a series of table lamps made from unexpected ingredients like coffee grounds, rice husks and wheat bran. It’s a clever combination of sustainable thinking and simple, Nordic-inspired design.
Each lamp has a soft, organic shape and a natural texture that reflects the raw materials it’s made from. The pieces fit together in a compact way too, the shade nests inside the base so the whole thing ships more efficiently and with less waste.
The idea behind Terra wasn’t just to make another eco-friendly product, but to give new life to materials that usually get discarded. It’s a small but thoughtful take on how design can be both beautiful and better for the planet.
