Surreal Paintings by Annette von der Bey

Published Jan 14, 2022

Intriguing creations by German artist Annette von der Bey.

“Her artwork is characterised by an overflowing richness in detail, designed to completely absorb the viewer.

She loves the work of Flemish artists Piet Brueghel and Hieronymus Bosch. Like the old masters she is inspired by, Annette works using oil paints on canvas. Her exhibitions are immersive experiences, and she assembles her individual paintings in sequence to form installations that transform the physical space.”
