Street Bots: Art Toys by Grapheart
Published Jul 30, 2024
Paris-based artist Grégory Demont, also known as Grapheart, creates awesome designer toys inspired by the world of pop culture. His custom robot creations include tributes to iconic franchises such as Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman and Spider-Man. In his own words:
“After a few years of designing album covers and posters for local bands, I discovered the Designer Toys. Since then, my creations came out of paper, on characters in volume.”
“Today, pencil, paint and tablet in hand, I pay tribute to the Japanese and American cultures that have accompanied me since childhood by creating a universe of street robots against a backdrop of Wasabi Hip Hop.”
