Story-Driven Packaging Concepts by OHG

Indiana-based creative agency OHG has worked with some of the world’s most recognizable brands, including Red Bull, Lindt, Lipton and Häagen-Dazs. But their Behance portfolio reveals another side of the studio’s creativity. Free from the constraints of client briefs and established brand guidelines, these experimental projects explore the possibilities of intricate illustrations, expressive typography and luxurious finishes.

One of our favorites is Velaro, a whiskey concept that combines elegant embossed lettering with a golden serpent winding through the label. Heritage Botanicals takes a vintage-inspired approach, featuring delicate botanical illustrations, aged-paper textures and an intricately drawn hare. For Caribbean Sovereign Rum, deep teal labels, lush tropical foliage and gold detailing frame a striking sailing ship emblem.

Other designs range from the colorful, parrot-adorned labels of Brandex tequila to Conger Dry Gin’s dark green glass, decorative embossing and ornate typography. There’s also Amber Tales, a whiskey concept featuring a charming postcard-inspired label. Each project has its own distinct personality, yet all share an exceptional attention to detail that makes these imaginative creations feel remarkably convincing.
