Sleek & Modular: Mudu’s Minimalistic Furniture Pieces

Founded in 2020, Ukrainian design studio Mudu has steadily made its mark with a distinctive approach to interior, furniture and lighting design. Rooted in minimalism, functionality and a refined sense of spontaneity, Mudu’s work strips away the unnecessary to reveal striking, thoughtful forms.
Their furniture pieces are modular, sculptural and surprisingly warm, despite their clean, geometric lines. Each object is a quiet statement, carefully distilled to its essence without sacrificing comfort or purpose. “When we design, we prefer subtraction, simplification and some spontaneity,” says founder Ross Sorokovyi.
Mudu’s growing list of awards includes the 2025 Feeel Design World Prize for furniture design, a 2023 IDA Design Award honorable mention, and recognition from the Architecture Masterprize, LAMP and The Very Best of Ukrainian Design, among many others.
