Vienna-based photographer Gabriel Hauer approaches portraiture with a designer’s eye, creating images that feel distinctly atmospheric. His work spans fashion, editorial and personal projects, always with a consistent focus on presence and emotion.
Gabriel experiments with contrast and lighting across his portraits, moving from clean, directional setups to diffused, cinematic haze to shape how each subject is perceived. As he puts it, his aim is to “uncover perspectives that haven’t been seen before.” That comes through not in elaborate sets or heavy styling, but in small, controlled disruptions.
