Poland and Beyond: Landscape Photography by Mikołaj Gospodarek

Polish photographer and travel writer Mikołaj Gospodarek captures landscapes shaped by dramatic light, changing seasons and a deep curiosity about place. His portfolio spans snow-covered mountain ranges, misty forests, winding roads and tranquil lakes, revealing the scale of the natural world and the smaller details found within it.
In Mikołaj’s images, warm sunlight grazes distant peaks and forests, glowing buildings stand against deep blue winter scenes, and ancient trees emerge as ghostly silhouettes through dense fog. His aerial shots take a more graphic approach, reducing rivers, boardwalks and shorelines to sweeping curves and interesting geometric patterns.
A graduate of the Faculty of Film and Photography at WSSiP in Łódź, Mikołaj has built a career combining photography, tourism and publishing. Since 2017, he has written travel guides to Poland, with his 40th title released in September 2025.
