PET* Hate: Short Film by Chris Angelkov
Published Feb 14, 2023
Director and designer Chris Angelkov has recently released his latest short film *PET Hate, which explores the UK’s obsession with single-use plastic bottles. The animated film aims to shed light on how our choices can have a detrimental environmental impact.
The film is an eye-opening journey that takes viewers through a series of absurd scenarios completely filled with plastic bottles everywhere, while highlighting important facts and figures along the way. As we follow the story, we gain insight into how absurd it is that 15,000 water bottles are opened in the UK every minute.
The visuals in this short are bright, colorful and fun, a powerful and contrasting way to deliver the message at its core – a call for us all to take collective action against excessive single-use plastics now before it’s too late.
