Paintings and Illustrations by Taylor White
Published Apr 29, 2013
Taylor White is an artist based in North Carolina, United States. She creates expressive images focused on the fragility of the human body.
These unique artworks can be found in print, in urban gallery spaces, on city streets, and in public and private collections. From her website:
“Taylor White sprung from her mother’s womb in May of 1985.
Diminutive, nude and unable to provide for herself, Taylor survived on her astounding drawing skills, eventually receiving her BFA in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2007. Shortly thereafter she fled her home country and, fragile and starving, sold herself the only way she knew how.
She now makes her living as an illustrator, but her long-term interest lies in singlehandedly reviving the early American traveling carnival.”
