Mind-Blowing Anamorphic Illusions by Patrik Prosko
Published Mar 23, 2023
Czech artist Patrik Proško uses old electronic appliances and other found objects to creates anamorphic sculptures that look like portraits when viewed from the right angle. His works are nothing short of amazing and showcase his talent for creating illusions through trompe l’oeil techniques.
Patrik’s sculptures are not your average pieces of art; they require viewers to change their perspective in order to fully appreciate them. Once you find the correct vantage point, the illusion is revealed, and a portrait emerges from what was previously just a pile of discarded objects. This process creates an interactive experience between the viewer and the artwork that makes each piece all the more special.
The use of anamorphic techniques in art dates back centuries, but Patrik has taken it to new heights with his incorporation of found objects into his work.
